Future missions to Haiti and Tanzania…

We have hosted clinics in both Haiti and Tanzania and hope to expand the mobile clinic model in other areas in need.  To support our initiatives, in addition to individual contributions, sweatshirts are for sale on our store webpage and a benefit dinner is held annually.

“Above all things, have fervent charity among yourselves.”
(1 Peter 4:8, Holy Bible, King James Version)

Potential/Unique outreach initiatives

  1. Mobile medical teams comprised of local clinicians in developing nations.
  2. The current model is under development in Haiti and Tanzania with plans to expand in the Caribbean and Africa.
  3. Teams are initiated by volunteers that come in after the aftermath of catastrophes to address rampant diseases, malnutrition and public health needs.
  4. The unique focus is on collaborating with local clinicians and equipping them with the tools to sustain mobile clinics.
  5. Specific objectives include: facilitating mobile team productivity by providing compact kits which contain stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, oximeters (which monitor both heart rates and oxygen levels), and digital thermometers; purchasing medications in countries served and culturally relevant literature to promote public health education.
  6. Funds to support these initiatives will be obtained from various fundraising campaigns including, but not restricted to: theme parties; cook-outs; fashion shows; bake sales; community luncheons and dinners; promotional product sales; concerts; donations received as a result of media awareness; and grants from various organizations.
  7. A maximum of 10% of all funds received via fundraising will be designated toward administrative expenses.
  8. Procure office space to establish a central headquarters for GMSM in Portland OR.
